‘Marzieh’ to go on air in Iran

Iranian series ‘Marzieh’ is set to be broadcast on Iranian television beginning tomorrow.

Directed by Flora Sam and produced by Majid Owji, the film will be going on air as part of a special for the holy lunar month of Muharram.

A family-themed melodrama, the series revolves around the issue of selection.

When a lady named Marzieh finds her job at odds with her religion, she is forced to make a choice between the two, with her new selection bringing about new opportunities for her.

‘Setayesh’ stars Daryoush Arjmand and Gohar Kheirandish will be reuniting in ‘Marzieh’, with Mahchehreh Khalili, Majid Mozaffari, Pejman Bazeghi, Amir-Hossein Sedigh, Ali Owji, Hassan Zarei, Shiva Khosromehr, and Niloufar Shahidi among the other cast members of the 15-part series.

Shooting for the series took place in various locations in the capital city of Tehran.
